Actually it is very good for your health. The reason why people think it is bad is because people are having too many partners and the spread of STD's are a very high risk to these people. People who have a steady relationship/marriage and have lots of sex are physically and mentaly healthier.

Healthy to have sex in a committed relationship. Sex can be a healthy emotional relaese.
Unhealthy to have sex in a casual, unprotected realionship ...especially with all the STD's, AIDS, and other worries in our modern life.

In general it is healthy. As long as everyone is consenting, using proper protection and emotionally stable, it is healthy.
