One Rector made me an Associate, rather than an Assistant. I said "what's the difference, the abbreviation's the same." If you had assistance they'd be a-ses too, and would want your salary. (You really didn't think a manager would work?)

That is the reason one is an Assistant, to learn to become a Manager! As an assistant one is "In Training," for the job.

the ket to a good manager is to see what needs to be done and supervise as they deligate the tasks.the manager is responsible for the whole and the assistant more or less, most times more, assists the manager. good people skills are a plus. morality in the workplace has to be at a high level in order to succeed. manager, assistant, employee, remember there isn't a person who cannot be replaced. team work is first expressed through the levels of mamgement. you set the pace

Because he is the assistant. There would have to be a new category for an assistant having assistance. Let's think of a name - LOL. How about elves?

Tell me about it, TD...I did everything as an assistant manager in a book store (and it was only a temporary, holiday season job). The manager sat in his office smoking the green stuff--and playing computer games!

So that the Managers can go to all the dumb, unproductive meetings, and get all the glory for all the hard work their team is doing.

Assistants are in training!!! Might as well see if you like it or not.

Assistants are willing to take all that c....ap in hopes of being the next one in line to dish it out. Or is that shovel it out.
