I dont think I agree that they are. The common response to this is that "morals vary from society to society".

But is that so? Are not the prisons full? Also if morality is determined by societies how could we ever say a society has morally improved, if the standard is set by that society?

Finally, wouldnt that mean people like Martin Luther King Jr, who advocated social change, would by defintion of that society be evil because they opposed the societies moral laws?

Sorry I know its 3-fold but 10 points to the best answer...

we are a generation of fast-fooders, where drive thrus take too long and when you're already going over the speed limit, people are passing you left and right. We never have time to do the things we want or enjoy. We don't make time for those that need us. We don't have a minute to "catch our breath". Does anyone even remember what a rose smells like?

If evil didn't exist?

Ironically enough it's supposed to have a negative effect on the existence of life. How is that?

What was an expectation or hope that you had that turned out to be something that just wasn't meant to be.

If, eventually, the Universe is going to be destroyed in some Big Rip, Crunch, Freeze, Burn, Bounce, or something of that nature, why does the physical Universe exist? Does it have meaning? Do our lives have meaning? What's the point of being kind to one another of it doesn't get you anywhere?

If the Universe is finite, and we are finite, why are we here?

I learned how to say "NO!" I learned not to depend on the opinions of others but to trust myself. I learned when it is a right time to actually share your emotions. I found out who my true friends are. I learned not to be friendly all the time. Take it easily and not take everything so seriously. What best advice did you get. Quote?

On a large project such as Collins, can there be a "revenge of the nerds". (Nerds take over and ruin the project).
