I would not say that man are more sensitive than women, but I will say that men are more "sensitive" than they used to be. I think this has many reasons.

With technology, men do not have to be as rugged as they have in the past.
Society has had some influence, with womens lib, men have backed off of chivalrous behavior, and have not had to always be the aggressor in relationships anymore.

I believe men and women are equally sensitive but to different things.
Women who experienced discrimination in the workplace and chauvinism in relationships prompted a phase of 'sensitivity' promotion over the past 30 years. Male demeanor, as challenged by society's better half, now includes that men exercise a greater sensitivity toward women.
But the adjustment, I would argue, is not of sensitivity per se but rather to awareness and expression of feelings.
In other words: We're all sensitive - but are we aware of our senses and, then, are we able to express ourselves.
