Well, I'm not here for points, number one. Nor have I anything touching to say.
But a song came to mind & I hope I won't get most of the words wrong.
"Sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, swiftly go the years. One day follows another...."
Makes me curious why so many people are tripping over their feet to get to Friday from Monday, from Winter to Summer. I'm self employed, & I work seven days a week, yet I take the opportunity (& please don't say this can't be done--even on your lunch break) to "kick back" & enjoy & relax. For me, life is too valuable to race forward at breakneck speed. I have pressures as a psychologist, I'm also an artist painter, (as much as I'm able), & what may seem at the moment to be totally emotionally draining, is equally fulfilling. My "mmmmm" time is whenever I get to bed. No pondering what happened during the day, not a thought about what I must do the next. Just me, serene. A light & pleasant book, sometimes falling asleep with my finger marking the page.
Gosh, is it Wednesday? Who woulda thunk! Nope, the screen tells me it's about 12:10a Thursday! Hello, Thursday!
Edit: Got a kick out of chinagirl. Cat ate my breakfast! I love a laugh!

Well, I've never really had a typical work week (look at my profile) where Wednesday was the hump day. So to me 'humpday' is more a state of mind. Some weeks I work seven days a week, others three or two or six.
But there are always turning points where I'm certainly glad the week is half over. And some days, like today, where one small moment makes the day, makes the week, easy to take.
True Story: There was a young Latino couple parked in the parking lot of my local AM-PM gas station this morning. Those poor guys had a flat tire. They had a spare tire but not a jack. So I lent them mine to change their tire. After getting gas I drove off. Driving into Malibu Canyon to see a client I had a blowout on Malibu Canyon Road. I pulled onto the shoulder and got out to change my tire, then remembered that I forget to get my jack back from the young couple at the gas station. Luckily, some old surfer dude heading to the beach pulled over and offered me his jack.
Weird, huh? I'll have to buy another tire jack, but still ...
If you believe in the basic decently of humans I suppose karma won't desert you.

Can't say AHHHH but want to say EEEEK. I went out with a man I met on Y!Personals last night and it turns out he is Married. So EEEEEEK! There I said it. Thank you. That helped. I think I am over the hump now. No tears to be shed on this one. I guess maybe it is point of humor to share 10 points might help a little.

SOBB! well, monday, I found out I had a severe depression, but I don't know how to tell my folks exactly that I need someone to help me. Of course, school comes into the picture. my teacher made a HUGE mistake in my report card because instead of me getting a 14/14 in math, i got a 14/144, so it's like an F! then, I have to work in groups for a couple of projects (i suck in groups, i'm better off alone) and no one did anything and they are due tommorrow!
there's a new girl in our class that is calling all the teachers "perras" (um, female-dogs in spanish) and other words out loud (nd it's her 3rd day! man!) then, she TRIED to tell everyone that I called her a pervert (which I didn't) when I only spoke 3 words to her...
I've been mistaken for a boy for about 3 times now! lol, that's funny, but it annoys me sometimes.
Then, all my friends are in other schools. I'm in the USA, when I really should be in Argentina...
then, lol, my friend keeps telling me I'm emo...
I just want to fall asleep for 12 years :P
sorry to give bad news :(
i hope yours was better-----cheers

Off work for the next four days, yea! Get to see my girl, haven't seen her for almost two weeks. Going to a baby shower and reconnect with many people I haven't seen in awhile. Having a cook-out, and meeting some new friends. AHHHH... Calming, relaxing, and rejuvenating weekend on the way.

I been kickin' it at work.....really busy......and I haven't felt well the last two days. My tummy is out of wack, and just feel dragging. Probably an acculation of stress compounded by a busy schedule and some important decisions which demanded my attention. All will be well and if all the days were good ones how would we tell the difference?

Ahhhhhhh. I got promoted to a step higher in my job. More money. More work. Cat ate my breakfast when my back was turned. Don't you just want to cry when you think of all the people with Alzheimer's disease? I want to coast into the weekend, now.
