Is it the fact that you are engaged in an act that could produce a baby that combines the genes of both of you

or...

is it the sheer union of the bodies

or...

is it the exchange of fluids

or is it something else?

(I'm not asking how to make sex more romantic or have romantic sex, I'm asking why sex is considered to be a romantic act already)

i often travel from category to category.
and i found.. it can reflect life as a whole..

some people who has happy life.. dwells in polls & surveys.. or single or dating..
but some people who has 'not so fair' life.. dwells in mental health.. psychology..
some are enjoying good fights in the religion and spirituality..

what i mean is.. it reflected one's whole life..
one person's life is dedicated to love.. other are having fun, expressing self.. but there are lots who just seems struggle.. with mental or physical sufferings..
those who struggle might give up on 'singles and dating', 'entertainmaint and music'.. and struggle in mental health, diseases and religion-spirituality too..

what do u think ?

so.. it's miniature of earth in yahoo answers..
insipire by miniature of earth.

1.You are not a part if nothing contains you.
2. You cannot be a part if nothing contains you.

Which one is grammatically appropriate?
Is there any other better way to state this?

The inability to see the bigger picture or to see what is right in front of someone is often referred to as not being able to 'see the forest for the trees'. That is confining oneself or being restricted to noticing the minutia (small or insignificant things) of day-to-day life while being unable to notice the bigger or more important things.

"True" love, happiness, joy, wisdom, security of self, the list is endless. Having these things has for the longest time, many thousands of years, been considered to be some of the most important things to posses in life and also some of the most valuable. It has been said that "man does not live on food and water alone", and while the struggle for subsistence is difficult in the extreme within our society if someone has nothing or very little there will eventually be a need for human companionship and enlightenment, a need to feed the mind and soul as well as the body.

Why then is it that if everyone need these things, love, happiness, wisdom, etc. to give life meaning and purpose that many fall into the trap of living to work, of living to pay the bills, of living for the sake of living? Is there a base reason why or society prises money, little pieces of paper with numbers on them, over wisdom, over ‘the love of a lifetime’, over feeling happy and content at heart with life as it is?

Why is it that people can’t see the forest for the trees?

Please explain your answers.

Thanks.

Do they ask what's your major, and "what are you going to do with that?" Does it bother you if you're not sure?

I'm a Psychology major, and after learning more and more, I've decided I don't really want to go down that route. My passion is in History and Philosophy. But I know if I switch majors to anything in the Humanities, I will consistently get blank stares. I'm tired of the utilitarian attitude everyone has now. I just want to think for myself, be educated, and enjoy college. And worry about what comes next later. Thoughts?

For example:
A symbol for Rousseau could be a pair of glasses because there is a saying that " A Man is Born Free"
that is a Rousseau's symbol because he saw through the saying and notice how our world is actaully filled with chains.
So really the saying should be, "A Man is Born Free but Everywhere is Filled With Chains"

I would greatly appreciate your help

S How do you see Jesus?
How do you see Jesus, please embody him in your words the way you see him. Jesus is the #1 focus of Christian people, our mentor, our teacher, our best effort at understanding uncondtional love?
Can you see Jesus dressed in military uniform, with a gun, grenades, kevlar vest, holding a taser? ready to force you to do his bidding?
Or?
Can you see Jesus sitting in joyful participation of the world, with children, animals, and the old, counselling, spreading wisdom and insight, teaching us the right way to live and treat eachother?
