A very close friend once told me: You're only as old as the woman you feel. :)

I'm about 19, but I don't feel old at all. I feel like I'm learning and growing everyday, and that if I was to stretch and exercise more, I'd be even more physically capable of doing whatever I am doing at any given moment. I still love the sight of an ice cream truck, I still watch cartoons, I still stare at the sky for no apparent reason looking at airplanes, clouds, stars. At the same time, you would often find me locked up somewhere intensely writing or reading, you would find me giving advice to people and they definitely do ask for it, you would find me taking care of my nieces and nephews as if they were my own children. At this time in my life, I feel like I'm a child--not a kid, but a child, and we all should. We all should feel this way. There are endless opportunities available and every day begins a new journey. You are a work of art, being molded into a perfect masterpiece. Yes, we are all children-- God's children.

I wonder how all those who are young can say that they feel older! Do they know how the old feels, yet? I am in my middle years and have seen and interacted with old people. I can safely say there is no different way the old one feel than the younger lot. Their body may be aging but most have the spirit as young as can be. What reflects in their talks is their experience, not their true self and that may be putting the young generation off. Just find some time to really listen to them...btw I feel like a 14 year old, still expectant to see how the life unfolds itself.

I can answer this in more than one way:

I am 42, look like I am in my 20s, and act (mostly) like I am somewhere inbetween.

I am old enough to know better and still young enough to do it. :)

Some days I feel younger than I am and some days I feel older. It all depends on everything I am doing that day or how my work day goes (I am a nanny of a 4 year old and a caregiver of a 43 year old in a wheelchair, so my days stay busy).

I feel 24, my actual age, more or less. I don’t identify with any age, honestly. Thinking about age to me seems like a very foggy prospect. Beyond a certain point it stops giving a good indication of someone’s growth, knowledge and other important traits. I often actually forget my own age. It stopped mattering sometime in the past few years and I just lost track of it. It my sound funny coming from someone so young, but it’s true.

Oh Kimchi - I turned 40 a few weeks back. I feel really old - I feel tired and am getting grey hairs and wrinkles - but inside I am still me - a little girl who likes to run through the grass fields in the warm summer evenings - the little girl who likes to draw puppies and sneak chocolate from her father's desk drawer in his den (which he deliberately hid there for us!!), the little girl who would play on the beach or read books sitting in the sun-window for hours - sigh.

im 20 although some days i feel like im 30 or 40!! those are the days when i become really sensible, i wanna get things done on time and right. i dont wanna do the usual college routine of missing class and goin on the piss.
Its like im really mature for my age, i wanna get a good education and work hard and get the most out of life.

i feel like i should be married with 2 kids and have a mortgage!
that doesnt necessarily scare me.... im 20 it probably should scare the crap outta me. it probably scares the crap out most 30/40yr olds!
now i feel really old... thanks!!

sometimes 4, or 7. A lot of times, 13 and 14.
Some days, I feel as old as the earth, minus her wisdom of course.
