What do you believe you must do to have the life you wish you could have?

I am thinking about who God is, what life is all about, and wheter we live forever. Please give me an answer, so I can continue on my current meditations...

The life I wish to have is Nirvana so I meditate on the teachings of Buddha.

What else is there to meditate on? Wealth? Successful career?

All of the meditation in the world will not help you achieve anything but inner peace.

if you could imagine plugging a mp3 player into a pylon and the power that would surge and blow to pieces the mp3.trying to comprehend GOD,and to understand GOD would blow your mind.through the phrophet Ezekiel we know emphaticly that GOD dispairs when men refuse to reason with HIM concerning their tresspasses against HIS law.HE hates to pass the death sentence on a living soul that he HIMSELF created.There are HOLY mysteries that surround the birth ,life death,burial and the Glorious RESSURECTION of JESUS CHRIST that finished and completed a DIVINE procuition against a fallen angel and the subsquent death sentence incrued upon mankind that resulted from his sales promition of disobiedence/selfish ambition to be as GODs,first on eve and then on adam using the tequnique of fraudlent misrepresentation that he still decieves people with to this present day.i urge you to read the apostelic fathers to help you in the pursuit of TRUTHand LIFE .IGNATUS writes to the ephian church before he was thrown to lions an ephisle that i wish had been included in the new testament that you will be enlightend by..i am only a novice but i suggest you read through ST Johns gospel next followed by the book of romans then james 12&3john.then look up the didache in the early christian library.but avoid the heretical books that deny that christhad a human body the same as ours,and a human nature as well as the divine nature.may GOD lead you by HIS SPIRIT into all truth.please e mail after you have read through the material i recomended.GOD guide you

Personally, to make my life whole, I would have liked to have had children, but God had different plans for me, I have nursed both my parents at different stages, 2 times till my dad recovered and lived in a pensioner village, my mother for 11 months until she died. I was actually adopted, so I believe that someone had to be there to care for them, my siblings who are blood relatives, (their natural children)
weren't able to do it as they have very busy lives and children to raise, I'm on a disability pension with a spare room, so each time something happened, it was up to me. I believe that all people are born for a reason, no matter where or when and that God has a plan for each and everyone of us, sure we have freedom of will, but I believe his will eventually wins out anyway. I believe when we die, it's only our body, not our soul/spirit, it goes on with god, but I also believe that we can be reincarnated, a lot of people don't believe in that but some things are too strange to be a lie.
I am always polite to people, kind to strangers and try and help people as much as I can, stay true to yourself and trust in your faith even though sometimes it will be sorely tested, I think if you can do that you will not only live forever but you will be remembered in the hearts of those you have helped, so you will live on that way too. find inner oeace i have had a very difficult life just about eveything you could imagine as being the worst that can happen almost all happened to me before 18 **** before 14 anyway i have a lot of demons to battle and that is what i need inner peace my journey has been very long and i know that i might not be able to reach my goal for so time but trying makes it easier and i have put some demons to rest along the way so ...go me go me lol

Pray - pray and pray from the heart.Do penance for our sins.Meditate.Read sacred Scriptures.Live the Holy Mass.Always thank God.Confess.Fast from the heart giving gratitude to God.Pray the Rosary.Pray the Holy Spirit will come down pouring on your family.When God comes,he will not be joking!

You only need to follow through on your intentions to have this life. If you succeed, reasonable intentions have succeeded. If you fail, your intentions may have been unreasonable, or chance may have denied your achievement of the quest; chance can never deny the success of your intention to succeed if your intention was honestly undertaken and it's integrity not undermined by your own laxness.

I sincerely believe that in as many ways as possible, I should be a force for "good". To leave nothing but pain behind is to me, a life of no value.

Line your will up with God's will. He knows what's best for you and what you truly want. [We don't think we can get it so we settle for less.]
God is love. God literally = love.
He saved your a** because of that love and it bodes us well to give Him glory. It is our heart's desire.
I believe that we live forever. Heaven or Hell -> with Him or without Him, your pick.

Take all the chances that are handled to you. Make sure that you are being yourself and not what your parents or family expect to be. Try to make your dreams come true even if they are crazy our a utopia if you don't at least try to make them come true it will come a time in your that you will regret you didn't do it. Carpe dium!
