Well truly I like being on this forum, it has brought me many wonderful friends from around the world.
I feel that on any forum separating adults from children and teens is imperative, but Yahoo has not chosen to do this.
Which puts me in a precarious position of having to be careful of the content I post, the questions, and the pictures I can choose to place on my avatar screen.
I think that the guidelines are rather loosely bound, and that some of them are very foolish indeed.
I am always respectful of others, and what they think and feel. I say respectful things and try to always be kind...
I have been violated for telling men to have nice father's days, violated for saying that I loved to love God....
I feel this is inappropriate that someone can just violate you on a whim. It is rather childish of the person, and Yahoo for not being more stringent on separation of children from adults on this forum.
It is simply just another form of limiting freedoms which are far too limited now. Constitutionally given to us, and now limited to the point of disgust for me.
It is not always pertinent to be nice,
but I have tried to be as PC as possible.
Great one Richie!

There should be community Guidelines and there should be an email address for harrassment for other users hehe which I am currently looking into I will call their main headquarters to find out about reporting people that send threats I have Yahoos address in California so there has to be a main number to ask about this :))) Its alway good to know but then again you can also block people too and take them from off your contact lists sad people are like this :)))) We need community guidelines we really do and I am going to find out some stuff about a few things thanks for your question :)))

I suppose any "philosophical" underpinnings in devising such guidelines are unknown to the users; such guidelines generally apply to all those that agree to the terms of service when signing up. Of course, the enforcement of such guidelines are relative to each individual situation, depending on the number of complaints, the intensity of the supposed abuse, and its overall lack of relevance to the question at hand. Though these community guidelines and regulations are certainly necessary to keeping with a civil and safe environment, it does not mean that they are immune to be easily abused by certain users who want to needlessly report because they simply do not like a view different from their own.

Just like they say about a Garden Gate ....
"Guarding the interior without blocking the view"
Takes a lot of effort, involvement, not to sound like a policeman, or a tax collector, yet affording the warmth , the comfort and the feeling of sense of security as when a mother takes a baby in her arms!

I am fine with guidelines. We need a ruler to draw a straight line. I feel that it could be more protective of people who only have good intentions.

It makes for one break monotony of acquiring infor provided by the net, which is the source of all knowledge under the sun.
If the questioner is preoccupied or naive in the search.
