I truly wish you'd given another choice, as I wouldn't do either.
Everything in the "past" has had its unique consequences. So many people think of "IF." If I hadn't done this, if I had done this, if I hadn't made that choice, & so on. But the truth is that time past can NEVER be judged as to the good or bad of decisions. I could very well say, "If I hadn't taken the elevator, I wouldn't have gotten that horrible job," BUT, I wouldn't have met--even one--of the wonderful people, traveled the journeys that I value. Worse, is to assume that if we pushed time back, we could possibly know what that life would have been?
Who would I be if I weren't me?
If I enjoyed, & loved something in time past, I haven't lost it. I cannot return. I "have" it still, in another & still beautiful way.
PUSH time? Why? As if I had some kind of control over what it would be? Or, is "now" so horrid, anything--even the unpredictable--would be better? "Time" isn't pushed, back or forward. Flow with it. This very moment somehow, to me, represents my immortality.

Push it back. Like most people I would like to correct some of the things In my past I could have done differently. On the otherhand I would like to see the world at differnet points in the future just as curiosity to see how technology has advanced and if we have evolved into a better society or regressed.

I would have to say forward to the brink of human longevity. When the world would be a few years away from its final doom and inequity.
I would like to see the world of the future that we are building now. I know I will die, and never see the time crafts, hypo speed knowledge applicators. O well.
But if I did travel into the future I could experience the entertainment level of a higher evolutionized technological culture. It would be fun, and feed my educational hunger.

Because time is said to only appear to exist for our convenience and in fact does not exist in reality, then the manipulation of it would be impossible.

What would be possible would be manipulating the perception of time. However, you would have to manipulate everyone's perception in the same degree for this to work and there are just too many variables to consider when you are speaking of the entire perceptive population.

Oh, I would push it forward! Far forward. I would love to see the future - All the advancements in science, and hopefully, advancements in humankind.

forward, because what's in the past, is in the past. we get no second chances at what's already happened and that's the way it should be. i have some regrets, like everyone, but we can only hope to learn from our mistakes, and hope we don't make the same ones in the future.

i would PUSH time forward....past is pat so we better look things back as memories that we have to treasure most. we became more mature if we always took things seriously, lightly & enjoy life ! by pushing time forward we'll discover more and learn more in the process....

Back. To be with someone who needed me... when we still didn't know each other :( And then let time take its pace.
