Guns, in and of themselves, do no harm to anyone.

A bullet does not kill a person either.

It is the hand that loads the bullet into the gun, and pulls the trigger, that kills people. People kill people, and would do it with guns or with knives, or with clubs. There is something violently wrong about the nature of some individuals.

Actually, people kill people. Of course the weapon should be fully loaded. But that person who picks up the weapon and points at someone and pulls the trigger...is the one that kills......bullets don't work without a gun, the gun can't work without loaded bullets and the pulling of the trigger takes a human.......person. People kill, and they don't need just guns to do so either.

False. Death by gun or bullet begins with the use of a gun, intentionally or unintentionally hurting someone.

A bullet doesn't find itself lodged in my brain by accident. Someone is typically at the other end with a hand near the trigger.

Bullets are inanimate objects, thus are subject to the laws of physics. They are unable to load themselves into a firearm. I've seen tests done where rounds were put into ovens and the results were that they were not lethal w/o the firearm.

A firearm is nothing more than a tool. No better nor no worse than the person using it. For a firearm to be an instrument of distruction it needs an evil person. For a firearm to provide protection or food you need a responsible person.

If I pull the trigger I might need something to blame but it will still be me doing the killing. That is why I buy the guns.

If you drive thru central Illinois, on a few of the Interstates you can see some pro-gun rights signs styled after the old Burma Shave ads. One of my favorites is, "If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson."

No, no, we should actually blame the inertia that applies on the bullet. THAT delivers the killing blow! (-sarcasm)
Guns don't kill people. I do!

no. little bits of metal have nothing to do with death. lack of oxygen to the brain kills people. organ failure, nervous system overload, bleeding, or disintegration of the brain are causes of lack of oxygen to the brain. bullets traveling at high speed can be a cause of the physical conditions that may lead to a lack of oxygen to the brain and then death.

I beg to differ. Had he used a knife the carnage wouldn't have been as great. The range of a person wielding a knife is much less than the range of a person wielding a gun.
