Is it an accumulation of individual subjective realities or is there some kind of underlying objective world out there? If there is this underlying objective foundation can we ever see it, feel it, or know it? If all we have are our senses to guide us "or someone else's senses" then how can anyone really know what's real, I mean, what's really real?

The mathematical equations of quantum physics and Superstring M-Theory (the new hyperphysics) suggests that the nature of reality is "Unreality", because our reality exists in a "holographic state" (the Hologram Principle), and all matter is light. Furthermore, the data coveys that 90% of our reality (universe) is missing (or displaced), and that we can only perceive 10% of our "Unreality". This implies the existence of parallel realities existing in "Hyper-Transdimensions", which are conceivably, and most likely the locations and realms of "Heaven", "Hell", the "afterlife" and God. Additionally, the research indicates that this “split” (fallen) Trans-Universal Superstructure (TUS) was once consolidated into one unit, which quantum physicists refer to as “Paradise Lost”, being a former state “before” Time that can be called the paleo-universe, or “Supraeoverse” (super + first + universe).

Only things that are measurable can have concrete existence; infinitude is immeasurable and is therefore an abstraction. An infinite universe basically means that there are literally numberless finite, concrete, substantial systems, which continue limitlessly and endlessly in all directions, inwardly and outwardly.
its broadest sense, a dimension is any measurable property or quantity, such as length, mass, temperature, time, etc. Strictly speaking, infinite space has no dimensions because it can't be measured. Only finite units of space, or concrete objects and entities are measurable. It seems reasonable to suppose that on every plane of reality, size can be measured in only three directions, corresponding to length, width, and height -- which are often referred to loosely as 'spatial' dimensions. But the inner worlds themselves should not really be called dimensionslearning and growing and unfolding their inner potential, periodically descending into matter, gaining knowledge and experience, and reascending to spirit, through world after world, plane upon plane, constantly expanding in consciousness and understanding, endlessly and limitlessly, for ever and ever . . .

Good luck……

There is an objective reality that underlies all subjective realities, which are based on this objective reality. We can know this objective reality, and we do so all the time. The simplest explanation is usually the objective reality. The more complex you get, the farther away from the truth you wander. Usually the simplest things matter the most.

The nature of reality is how I can perceive events and situations around me from my own particular perspective... there is also consensus reality in which a group of people suspend their own perspectives to view and interpret events and situations from an experts point of view... what is or what is not real is only an individual choice as to what they believe in.......... It used to be a fact that the Earth was flat and at the centre of the universe... the nature of reality in this case is a set of beliefs superimposed upon a nations perceptions of situations to condition people to respond to the true nature of reality ,that is flexible and unpredictable, in a predictable way... ermmm the nature of reality is that anything that is taken as real or fact is eventually proved to have been an illusion if that suits the ruling elites point of view

in my view, it's both of them, or more precisely: it's the part of underlying objective foundation which our individual subjective senses and/or knowledge gets. For example: we don't see the ultra violet lights, but we have the knowledge of that and accept that fact as existent reality. So our eyes in this case have lied us this was not objective reality. Conclusion: dismantle all around us from our different subjective senses, that is objective reality. That is by the way very hard, because of the simple fact of us being subjects, and not objects...

Ooh Best question! Reality is Absolute and Real. Unlimited and transcendental (beyond material elements) Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita as it is "I am the source of everything, everything emanates from Me, those who realize this fully engage in my transcendental loving service. So The Supreme Absolute Truth or Reality is Krishna who is the Supreme Personality of God head. Nothing is greater or beyond Him. He is not made of material elements though material elements and nature comes from Him. He has a transcendental Shining effulgent light emanating from His eternal Transcendental Spiritual Body Which is Supremely Beautiful. For all information go to asitis.com Read Bhagavad Gita as it is translated by the ambassador of the spiritual world Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada who is a bonafide spiritual master. I promise you this is True. But seek for your self. I Have found, and completely satisfied with my search.

I think that question has to be deferred to the metaphysicians or buddhists.

However, I would say it's pretty clear the current scientific viewpoint of reality is flat out wrong. It's just that the correct one is a bit harder to articulate.

In one of my classes at school we had to listen to a talk deepak chopra gave on quantam healing. That might be a good place to start.

Honestly though, it's a really complicated question, and you're definitely asking good points to start the discussion. However, despite that, it's just too hard to even begin accurately discussing it on a venue like here.
Hence, why I defer the question :P

Really real or just real? What if its just real but not really really real? An illusion, a delusion....
There is no nature to reality.....
There is no objective.....
It has no foundation.... no basis, because its not real is it?
LOL

REAL = Existing objectively in the world regardless of subjectivity or conventions of thought or language.

Oooww I have a REAL headache now.

This question has been around for a very long time. And I don't think anyone can know the answer for sure. (I think that's why the creators of The Matrix made that movie...along with some other reasons. But I suppose everyone can derive different meanings from that movie).

Take home the gold star.

WE ARE GUESSING!!!!

One presumes we are sensing the underlying objective reality.

But who knows, someday, someone might offer you a blue pill......
