My boyfriend keeps accusing me of lying just because i can't remember my past crystal clear. For example: I wrote letters to a guy i dated 2 years ago and he said i lied to him because i never told him about it.

Ok, this is a strange one.

To you what are the requisites of something living:

Say a computer program was able to learn and adapt, it would be advanced but not alive.

If it was then able to do that and make sponteneous decisions based on reason, would it then be alive?

If it could do all of the above, and question its existence, had will to protect itself, and felt compelled to reproduce, would it have to go further?

Were does "Life" begin, can it even be defined in terms of awareness?

What would you do if you were permenantly brain dead. And I mean permanently. You are brain dead, do you still want to be alive?

Maybe I should end my life, before I go into that situation. I don't want to live anymore, maybe I should go on to heaven right now.

If every humans genetic structure was instantly changed to give them the max abilities, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, etc (Making us FAR more then we are now with many extra/heightened senses, abilities and so on that we can not even begin to imagine in our current states) how to you think this would change the world in which we live (Heightened abilities at max for both good and evil)?

People would rather put food in their own mouth before someone in greater need. This is just one example and I am not trying to be specific in any way in regards to the above. Why are we not think more as a whole?

A moral activity consists of a motive, an act, and a consequence.

The motive is the source (reflects the Father). It is from within, and is invisible, unseen.

The act is the embodiment of the motive (reflects the Son, who is God in the flesh). The motive takes form in the act.

The consequence flows from the act, and from the motive through the act (reflect the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sends through the Son). The consequence is the act in its impact on others.

Note that this is always the order of any moral activity. First there is the motive, then the act, and finally the consequence. Note all three are absolutely necessary in any moral activity. We can only judge one of these in light of the other two.

Moral activity is only a reflection of the structure of the triune God. It is even a truer reflection when the nature of moral activity reflects the nature of God, which is light and love.

What do you think?
