``Being rather than doing`` could be said to be the main point of how to apply the Law of Attraction in our daily life. For example, one can accumulate money by working, working, working, all one`s life, maybe. However, if one can get oneself to feel already rich and successful and confident and free, one will accumulate or access this wealth much more quickly. Better yet, one will have access to that wealth, one will know `The Secret` so to speak. Then when others try to impoverish this person because of jealousy or envy or whatever, it will not matter one bit. This person will bounce back in no time. He/she will know the Way.
My intention was to keep this one short, for variety, and now lookie here! Oh well, grin and bear it! Growl! lol

Yes Rena, but we can't get out of our situation just by doing the right things. This will be a tragic story. Somewhere, sometime, things will be as those words say.

Edit: I guess all we can do is the best we can. Who knows, perhaps little things make all the difference.

reminds me of Erich Fromm's book, on "The Art of Being"
genuine "doing" naturally results from "being"; Change what is 'inside', change your core, your heart, change your "being", and your "doing" will naturally result according to your new "being"

Conversely, it works both ways: If just do it, and practice it, you will become an enhanced "being" that will be able to "do" genuinely, after time, as Anthony Robbins would say

Life is lasting longer, but still time passes quickly, think about near the end, what would you have regretted missing out on, regretted doing or not doing. Will you have accumulated a big pile of wonderful memories, or nothing good to remember ?

There is this song by Dave Matthews Band called "Dream" (I think that's what it is). It's on the "Busted Stuff" album. It talked about people hurrying about, but the joy in just being able to breathe for its own sake, and the child-like joy that eludes us as we grow older and cynical. I love the line, "but every day should be a good day to die".

Being &Doing,Giving&Recieving are the closest things to The Higher Power(short of self-sacrifice)that we can achieve to better ourselves and the world around us
