be it in the past or the present, how would it affect the outcome of your life? or would you not change anything at all because you believe things happen for a reason?

I'm pretty curious about how people around me, and even I, will look like after a certain period of time (such as 10 years, 20 years or even 40 years). But searching about such a subject on Yahoo or Google doesn't help. Is there a type of machine that can predict our facial changes? No jokes plz!

All I can say is we didn't start the fire. Though we didn't light it, we tried to fight it...

basically...we create our own destiny. every thought we have determines what will happen next. and if we doubt ourselves we get the short end of the stick. for example....if you are running late...and you get grumbly...and negative it never fails that you wont be able to find your keys..........

I get sooo many thumbs down....

but when I answer with Universal terms and 'open' language I get thumbs up?

It's semantics...there is only one Divine source, all spiritual truths radiate from it...and it is LOVE...so why the strong objection when I draw on any specific relevant source of sacred written text?????

I was trying to take a "NO Yahoo" day...but it was bugging me and I just have to Know......

I am not religious, but see Truths in many places.....why does the word God scare people....why does quoting the Bible freak people out???????????

"if we have chosen work in which we can accomplish the most for mankind, then no burdens can bow us, because they are only sacrifices for every one.then we enjoy no poor, limited egoistic joy,for our happiness belongs to millions, our deeds live on eternally, and our ashes are watered by the tears of noble human beings"---KARL MARX(1835)

In a world overrun by specialists, do generalists have any value? While specialized knowledge can certainly be useful at times is it over-rated? Are we out of balance here?

Can we go deep by going wide?

avoid this risk

adopt this safe behavior

voluntarily narrow the boundaries of your life

allow the government to reduce the number of dangerous choices available to you

Are these statements examples of a pervasive societal and socially acceptable cowardice?

Is thorough reading and serious consideration of them a bland acceptance that cowardice, preoccupation with death, prolonging life as the ultimate priority, is a virtue?
