You let go of the egg, it falls to the floor and breaks. That's consequence. Try not believing in the mess on your floor. You take a walk through the wrong neighborhood --Baghdad or LA, doesn't matter, as long as the natives believe you don't have a right to be there -- you get to BE the mess on the floor, and what you believe won't matter much.

Notions of right and wrong have considerable survival value.

Everything you do has a consequence and here are a few examples. You eat beans, you pass gas. You lie, cheat, steal, you live with the guilt. You drink to much, you get drunk. You smoke, you might get cancer. You have unprotected sex, you get pregnant, or STD's. You don't work, no money, no money, you could end up out in the street homeless. Life is so full of consequences.

there are consequences and advantages to all things and one must know these before they can make a truly informed choice, I find that there are those that think that there way is the right or wrong way and when others look at it some see it the same way and some see it opposite

You may as well ask is there such think as action? For every action there is a reaction (aka consequence)

Not at all! the consequence is but another name for results which invariably follow our actions, negative or positive

It is foolish to believe that there are no consequences for your actions. You may find that it is not society, or even God that dish them out. Look inward.
