Me - 50 years ago! Don't recognise this old woman who keeps standing between me and my mirror, although she doesn't look quite so bad when I remove my specs!

I know this as fact that we do not need to look into a mirror at all, for we have capacity to accept whatever we are with the fullness of content in our heart, we look into mirrors because we want to know how do we look in comparison with the rest of the people world, or how other people would see us. In this sense, therefore, we temporarily become the world for ourselves, and look most critically upon an image trying to do all it might to look just so good, healthy and attractive … smile 

And for a deeper opinion of mine regarding this sensitive issue, looking into mirrors check the following links:

Myself. If I saw someone else staring back at me I'd get one hell of a fright!!

Reminds me of that old tale about Bloody Mary, chant her name 3 (or was it 13) times and she'll appear in the mirror. Never tried it, never will (scaredy cat!).

Me. As I am, today. Life is too short to spend energy staring back in time and wishing for do-overs!

Since I can be only me, what would be the point of having someone else starring at me?
