it's basically a matter of RESPECT.
i believe that we should AT LEAST respect our individuality.
i mean, people should leave each other alone whether they believe in God or not, we should all respect our individual beliefs.

What possible difference could a 'thumbs down' make? Who cares?

Some folk appear to get their hackles up in reaction to mention of God, or a higher power. Whatever their reasons for doing so, it has no bearing on your beliefs, my beliefs. It's merely a choice they're making about how they view life, the universe, and the beliefs of other humans.

Ain't a big enough deal to allow yourself a moment of concern.

It depends. If the question is obviously meant to provoke me or accuse me of being an idiot, then it deserved. If the question is well-thought out or simply someone curious about my opinion, I have no issue. The trouble is, a lot of the questions are the former, not the latter

The majority of the world's population has a distorted world view....so what the problem is? Obsolete genes do not die overnight, so theists will be with us for along time

Maybe we are sick of ignorance and idiocy, maybe it's just a bad question, maybe you misunderstand, maybe you can't give thumbs down to questions anymore.
