No. It'd be horrible, just lying there in a vegetative state.

Dave, why end you life based on an imagined scenario?
Does anyone know what the future holds?
Take each day as it comes and enjoy the good and endure the bad.
If you truly are thinking of ending your life, I urge you to speak with your doctor or a psychiatrist.
Situations in life are temporary. If you are going through a difficulty right now, it will not last forever.
Please do not provide a permanent "solution" to a temporary "problem".
Best wishes to you.

How would I know, I would be brain dead ? The body is just a shell.
Heaven does not exist so I would scratch that idea. We are matter formed from energy. Energy cannot be destroyed so we are eternal in one form or another.
Why are so many people so obsessed with the individual consciousness ?

. isn't it unusual that no longer too some years in the past we does not could debate this subject rely. In my adolescents (the 50's) there have been no existence help machines. -- If somebody became in a coma, if the have been respiration on their own, they have been nourished to maintain existence.-- in the event that they weren't respiration on their own, they have been already lifeless. a number of those "cutting-facet" remedies have in straightforward terms prolonged existence in a vegetative state. -- No high quality of existence, however the guts is thrashing and the blood is circulating, so they are technically alive. i does not prefer to "stay" like that so have it in my "residing Will" and wellness Care Directive, that I no longer be placed on any machines. Even youngsters possibly could have one among those directive! .

KC has the best answer here if you are serious. Suicides don't go to heaven, the darkness envelopes them.
I have left instructions in my living will to keep my body alive until my organs could be donated.
Follow KC's advice, now!

According to my Advance Directives, it would be a DNR, Do Not Resuscitate. So to answer your question and your statement, my answer would be, NO. Why would I risk living in a vegestative state and have no control over my body. That would be a lost cause for me.

when you are brain dead, you wont know it, unless you have gone on and look back, as long as your brain is working, i think you should focus on this life you have been given, you will move on soon enough, and then probably view you time on earth as very short
