Nothing is an oddity of modern language. The concept cannot even be described in most of the languages that lead to our current languages.

IOW, we created new words and new concepts that defy logic and reasoning.

The term "nothing" is an oxymoron. The very definition of a 'thing' defies the creation of a word like no-thing.

Having is an interesting concept that lead to guilt for many people in human history. We are taught not to be greedy, selfish, etc. As a result having something is often sabotaged by people to avoid being perceived in this way. In this respect, having "nothing" would be preferable to having some-thing.

What is nothing to someone, could be something to someone else. After all, we tend to make something out of nothing. It happens all the time.

Same question.
