Integrity. Most people know right from wrong, but some believe that sometimes the ends justify the means. I learned the hard way that is not true, that we have to live by principles, in all issues big and small. I have grown a lot as a person after I became aware of this truth.
Integrity is what I seek in others. It does not matter if it is not in the same areas as I am. I discovered it is instructive to hear from such people.

I value my faith and my family most in life.
They are the two things in life I love and trust.
Without them, I have no peace, wisdom, strength, etc.
Most of my family is gone now, so I have to rely on my faith. Without it I would be hopeless

I agree. For example, none of what you mentioned matters to me.
What I value is intellect. I believe that any problem that faces the human species can be resolved through human intellect. Others believe it can be accomplished through force, war, coercion, violence, etc.
I believe that any human suffering can be alleviated through our intellect -- even at the moment of our death and even with a violent death.
I believe that it is when people demonstrate a willingness to learn and to improve the capacity of our mind -- the brain can be viewed like a muscle that can atrophy with lack of use -- that we become all that we have the capacity to be.

it extremely is significant to be very sparkling on the techniques you're making use of, or you will fall into blunders. "What do you suspect is our maximum cost as a species?" we don't cost issues "as a species". A species isn't a valuing entity. All human action, and all acts of valuation, happen with the aid of guy or woman human beings. consequently your question is in accordance with a fallacy, which alled the fallacy of conceptual realism. this potential to take an precis, mixture thought, and take care of it as an definitely determination-making ingredient. it extremely is not. "Biology says that we are machines," No it would not. No biology says that. "So our bigger values are significant provided that they’re significant for survival." No they do no longer seem to be, because of fact they are significant additionally for intercourse and duplicate, no longer purely for survival. "Do you sense that maximum of humanity holds to this thought? in case you settle that we do, record some examples you spot interior the worldwide precise now that prepare how our theory in this thought dictates our strikes on a daily basis. in case you do no longer sense humanity holds to this thought then record some examples interior the worldwide that prepare what widespread thought or theory humanity holds to that drives us onward? " The questions are in accordance with a thoroughly fake thought. at the start, humanity and "maximum of humanity" are actually not the comparable ingredient. Secondly, regardless of if humanity did no longer carry to the assumption of the magnitude of survival (or intercourse or duplicate) that wouldnt' recommend that individuals are not *truthfully* triggered by making use of them. it extremely is the adaptation between recommendations and strikes. Circulating garbled illogic wil get you nowhere. Your questions will purely make experience in the event that they are in accordance with genuine propositions approximately human action. so some distance they do no longer seem to be. in case you go with to appreciate the solutions on your questions, study "Human action" by making use of Ludwig von Mises.

fidelity. My husband and I are in the navy and we're always stationed apart. It's important that we stay faithful to one another because that's the glue holding everything together. Most people will say it's love holding things together but you can still be in love with someone and cheat on them. It ruins so many relationships.
