I know I ask a lot of questions about the same topic, but I really have no idea about a lot of this. So does anybody know what the life of a classical concert pianist is like?

Well, I have a problem. I've only replaced strings on a classical guitar. I have followed instructions on how to replace strings on a steel string acoustic guitar so I'm sure I'm doing it right!

The ball end of the string simply won't go through the hole! It just doesn't fit but the strings that came with the guitar obviously did and they appear to be smaller. I was wondering if this is a common problem or if there is anything I possibly could be doing wrong.

These are the strings and the guitar :

Is there anything I should do to become a pianist on the same level as Arrau, Horowitz, Rubenstein, etc??? I am debating whether or not I should become a physicist or a pianist, but it is such a big gamble I dont know what to do.

Classical or otherwise that you play off by heart.

& what is your instrument?

Mine is piano
My best- On the Beach - Chris Rea
Swan Lake Waltz- Tschaikowsky
Etude- Kabalevsky
Living on a Prayer- Bon Jovi
Babooshka- Kate Bush
Don`t Leave-(sung by) Blackstreet
Pride- U2
Power of Your Love- (Gospel)
Let`s Dance- David Bowie

Most of my other stuff I still need sheets for, esp the classical.

for a small, catholic high school to do? we don't have that many boys who can sing- maybe 6, i know, but maybe only 1 who can really sing- and a couple of really good girls- maybe 8- and then a whole chorus. we're not really a dancing school, but we have a couple of good dancers. you guys have any ideas about what musical we could do? (and for the record, i have a very low alto voice, and i'd like a lead part! haha! i had a lead last year, and i'm hoping to get one this year!)...so yes, any ideas, let me know! (p.s.- we just did godspell.)
