In my small band I play bass and rytheme guitar and it's real hard to switch during a song.

The only production model I know of is the Gretch - but it's a baritone not a full bass. Warmoth makes Strat/Precision combo bodies so you could make your own - buying or swapping out the necks and the parts. What I would do is get a used Squier Strat and Precision Bass somewhere cheap - probably less than $100 a piece. Then swap out the parts to the Warmoth body.
Another option is one of those stand up guitar stands - they hold the guitar at the playing position so you can walk up and play.

I've seen quite a few. I'm pretty sure Gibson make one, and there are probably Japanese copies around. My double-neck is 6 & 12 string. I suppose, if u had enough cash, you could buy a 6/12 doubleneck ,buy a bass neck and do a switch, but ti would be complicated. Try googling doubleneck. Hope this helps

Yeah.. think of all of the weight that thing will have. And the price. But if you can make it sound good, play well, and be cheap, I'll be your biggest fan.

Try getting a custom made one, then you can get it just the way you want it.
