i am starting to play euphonium (its awesome!!), i switched from bass clarinet last year. its coming close to band camp, so i wanted to know of a good mouthpiece to help me in the high range, im playing on a bach 1 1/2 g, its a little tough to reach those high notes, though for marching we play baritones, and its a different size shank, i use a 7c, which isnt that hard to play on for me, but i need help on finding a good euphonium mouthpiece because this one is kinda tough.

The thing is, that I tried to be good as hard as I could, but it did not bring the results that were expected. Now there is a problem: I am loosing my hearing. If it goes further with the same tempo, I will be deaf in about 3 or 4 years. What will you do in this situation?

I already completed my manuscript in the genre of fantasy in the form of twelve anthologies. I never had any of my work published before and this is my first book. I already have query letters sent out to a bunch of agencies and i know all about the game of getting an agent, but luck is running out and time is a precious thing. I'm 16 and is that why they keep rejecting me in my letters? Or is it because I've never been published? I've been to a bunch of websites about Literary agents, but I'm open to any suggestions. I need to get my book published so my literary work may be accomplished and known. Please help me!

I am thinking about taking guitar lessons and I am wondering if there are any similarities between it and the keyboard.

I have played the piano for about 5 years, so i have no problem with reading sheet music. However I don't know how to read guitar tabs so I was wondering if it is hard to learn in comparison with the piano.

has any one taken the music theory course in high school? i'm taking it sophomore year. how was it and how much do you need to know at the beginning?
i played violin in elementary school and through most of jr. high so i picked up some stuff from that. i play guitar now, and i just started learning piano (never too late huh?) to learn more, but i barely know any scales and i'm horrible at telling notes by ear, so i'm just worried i'm going to fall way behind.

I was thinking about suggesting to my drummer to put water on his drums and cymbals for shows so that when he plays them it would create a nice misty splashing effect.

Is this actually any good for the drum heads to have water on them?
