Probably Bing Crosby's 1942 single "White Christmas". It was claimed to have sold 30 million copies as early as 1968. Estimates this century peg it at 50 million copies sold.
More recently, Elton John's 1997 tribute to then recently-deceased Diana, Princess of Wales, "Candle in the Wind 1997," is without a doubt the biggest seller with estimated sales of 33 million worldwide.

"Tafelmusik" by Telemann.
The recorded performance by Musica Antiqua Cologne as sold more than 37million copies since its issue in the mid 90's. Its two CD's with an average selling price of about $27.00.
If you take a look at classical music recording by the total number of artists who recorded the music, Beethoven's 9th symphony is well over 100million copies since 1950.

It used to be White Christmas by either Bing Crosby or Perry Como (I can't remember). But I think a more recent song over took it and it wasn't the beatles. Perhaps a Bee Gees song? Nope there we go ... Guiness book of records (97) tells me it's White Christmas by Bing Crosby (written by Irving Berlin)!! Unless it's been surpassed after 1997 of course so that rules out Gloria Gaynor
(It sold 30 million copies)
