Where can i find voice acting, singing, or acting auditions.?

Okay, I live in Jacksonville, NC, US...And I dont know where I can find any auditions for singing or acting. Its been my dream for a while to sing and act for people and just be known to people....I know it sounds really childish but I want to get out there ya know? I mean..Does anyone know where I could find auditions for voice acting for anime.? Or maybe for someone to hear my singing.? Or even to start a little commercial audition..
Oh yeah...Im only 13....Heh heh....So like yeah..

It sounds like you'd be interested in musical theatre. You can try looking at www.backstage.com and doing a casting search. They have bits of everything in there from films to voice overs and theatre, but not in every location. For instance in Los Angeles there are tons of new auditions every week, but in your area there may be very few things. Couldn't hurt to check though :-) For theatre, you can always look up the websites for those nearest to you. The usually have audition info posted.

You can also check into www.actorsaccess.com. Again they may no have much for your area, but it's a start.

If you're interested in film & television you can try looking for your state's websites for their film alliances / societies / commisions etc. Just do a search for North Carolina Film and see what comes up and if that doesn't yiled much, ad one of the key word above. Sometimes they list information if a production filing locally needs people, etc. They also list local resources.
