If an actor/dancer/performer is represented by a talent agency in NYC and then decide they want to move to the LA scene instead, can they just move to LA and stay represented by the same agency, in the LA branch office of course? Or do you have to stay in NYC until your contract expires? Any help is greatly appreciated.

My father and I had tickets for Beauty and the Beast on Broadway for July 18th at 8. When we finally got into Manhattan, we were turned away by police officers at 57th St., and they were directing traffic away from Manhattan because of the steam pipe explosion. We missed the show, and when my father called the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre the next day, a woman he spoke to told him about 50 other people missed the show, and they would call us back with the manager's decision on what to do. So far, they have called back and told us they will not be compensating any of these 50 people in any way, and we should dispute the charges with our credit card company. Is there anything more that we can do? Is it even possible to find out who the other 50 people are and do something jointly?

Honestly, I've used it maybe three times since I've had it..about four years! How often do I need to change them when I play regularly? I heard every week or every other week. I just got a guitar today and a book for it. It tells me to play a scale that goes: E E E F F F G G G F F E E, on the first string. It says to rest my thumb on a lower base note to keep my hand steady. It says to alternate the notes using 2nd and 3rd finger. Should I be plucking the string upward or strumming downward?

ok so right below i understand how to play them when the number are lined up but i dont know how to play them when they are all diagonal, like the first line is only a 3 does that mean i only hit the 3rd fret on the A chord? or do i hold it and play all the chords. please help!!!!!

I know it is hard to tell, but here are the details,,My wife is very attractive and has a great body and has always dreamed of modelling (she is 21) In the paper was an ad for persons to come and interview at a place that they made clear was not an agency, but only supplied people to agencies. Their references seemed to support that they had in fact had clients that had gotten work,,they required no up front fees other than needing a card with her headshots that could be done with a local photographer that they of course contract with, for around 700 dollars or we could have them done anywhere we wanted, just bring them the headshots and that was it. They made no promises just said "bring us the photos (or schedule with their photographer) and we think she has a good chance of getting some work when we send her to the calls." Is this for real? How can I identify a scam and if this is something questionable, what is the best way to get started? Thanks so much!!

I am considering picking up the flute and is currently looking for one. However, I heard that you must test play in order to find one that is suitable. Will it be fine since I can't?

Also, I'm looking at the Altus 907RB and the Germeinhardt 3H/3HB. I need professional advice on which will be better.

Also, does the offset G makes you pitch the G note better? I have heard of many extremely negative or extremely positive comments on the offset G. I don't think me hands are really small so I might not need them.

Does the Split E mech affects the trill? This is what i heard and a lot of peeps been telling me not toget one with the Split E.

I'm shooting a video for a school project. In one scene I have to hit someone with a car (my teenage brother volunteered to be "hit"). We've practiced it a couple times, but the timing's always off. He's supposed to get hit because the driver's not looking and the angle's from inside the car, and simce he's not a professional, I planned to cut the shot off right before he's hit so he doesn't get hurt. Any tips on how to make this scene convincing (and safe)?

it will be for performing and recording....im short on cash so id have to get a crappy acoustic electric if i got one which ive heard is a bad decision...my only concern with getting a straight acoustic is..will it be loud enough to be heard over drums in a live performance? in my band there are two acoustic guitarists and a drummer...thanks for the help every1

I see plenty of women sitting and strumming on an acoustic, singing self-indulgent poetry. I play a Fender Telecaster and I tear it up with blues solos better than any woman I have ever heard. Why? Because there are so few women out there who play that kind of guitar. If they do, I don't see them anywhere.
