That's despicable that her father would do that, and YES she needs a lawyer right away to help her.

No, she can sue (and should sue him as soon as possible), because it is VERY illegal. Not only is he lying to people who would buy the recordings, he is stealing, and cheating. She needs to contact a lawyer.
