it will be for performing and recording....im short on cash so id have to get a crappy acoustic electric if i got one which ive heard is a bad decision...my only concern with getting a straight acoustic is..will it be loud enough to be heard over drums in a live performance? in my band there are two acoustic guitarists and a drummer...thanks for the help every1

well, acoustic is fine. just as long as you have a microphone to it. you should be able to hear it.

You'd need some sort of amplifcation to be heard above a drummer and electro-acoustics work much better for that. Miking up an acoustic is a nightmare with feedback etc. Go for the best u can afford - secondhand is always a good option. Go to ur local music shop & see what they have. Hope this helps

Since you're performing with it, get the acoustic/electric. You will regret it if you dont.

i have a acoustic electric and a acoustic there both awsome but the electric is more fun

go for the acousitic-electric. You won't regret it.
