Ahhh, this would be a difficult question to ask in the spirit that it is asked. I apologize for that, but when I was a folksinger, I often stayed at the mike for up to twelve hours without repeating a song. I used to play the open mikes in San Fransisco, and as long as you didn't repeat yourself (unless it was by request of course) you could stay on the mike as long as your voice didn't give out, or the place didn't close down. When I joined the Army band, I had a similar reputation on Piano, since although I was a guitarist by trade, I would often be called upon to play for Dining Ins, Dining Outs and other formal and informal occasions. It wasn't that I was the greatest pianist around, but I knew a lot of the songs that those people wanted to hear. The evenings wold usually wind up being a sing along and I would generally get home with just about enough time to suit up for P.T.
I've slowed down quite a bit now that I'm teaching, but I could still do three to four hours off the top of my head and more if someone was gracious enough to request the tunes. If you give me a couple of fake books I can play all night pretty much, but not because I'm such a great musician, just because I've played a lot over the years and it all builds up. Hope this answers your question, at least in the spirit in which it was asked.

Classical violinist, with a minor in baroque violin. Out of habit, I tend to memorize music after the first few readings, unless it's a long concerto, in which case it's more like a week. The whole list of memorized compositions is far too long, but this is what's in a performable state at the moment:
Bach: Sonata No. 1 in G Minor [to me, the most personal performance piece], Partita No. 1 in B Minor, Toccata & Fugue arranged for solo violin
Telemann: Fantasy No. 5 in A Major
Glazunov: Concerto in A Minor
Paganini: Caprice No. 16, Caprice No. 24
And in orchestral and chamber music (these are only the violin parts, mind):
Schubert: Quartet No. 14 "Death and the Maiden"
Beethoven: Quartet No. 8 "Razumovsky"
Mozart: Divertimento in F Major
Bartok: String Quartet No. 6
Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake Suite
Rimsky-Korsakov: Russian Easter Overture

Hello! Well, I begun as a piano player, and played that until I was the piano player in our towns symphonic orchestra. So you can say I have played a lot of classic, and a good deal musicals etc. I was stupid enough to drop out all that because of a chance to be in a rock-band. I changed to Hammond B3, and we played more or less everything by Deep Purple. Jon Lord is my fave piano/organ/synth- player. Had to say that, he deserves so much more credit! we played Purples live versions, and just to name a few; Highway star, child in time, Strange kind of woman, Smoke on the water, Burn, Wring that neck, and our showstopper LAZY! It is on our Album, Disciples of love, ha ha ha, yeah we were freaks ha ha ha. I learned the guitar, for soon to change to a 7string instead of 6. and at the same time the el bass guitar. And now a days, I work alone mostly. I wanna play with people of course, but have not had time again before now. However I got my own studio, so I do keep in touch with the scene. I played in many different bands of course. And everything from Deep Purple I still do for fun, The beatles are also something I am known with, and I believe I can them all, at least if I can take a look at beatles complete for two seconds. lol. Classic I can mention most of Edward Grieg, and songs like Trolltog, Solveigs Sang, I Dovregubbens Hall etc. I like jazz also, Eroll Gardner`s Misty, f.eks. Lately I have only been on stage under Jam-sessions, and then there are mostly free play and impro. I have been in black Metal bands also, so songs by Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Satyricon and Mayhem are also on my play-list. To end it well, ha ha ha, so have I also been the pianist in a couple of choirs, and one of them were very christian, so they sang gospel and nothing else. I keep up with my playing still, and I practise for several hours everyday still. Not because I wanna be a rock-star, but just for the pure joy of it. I have enough songs to fill up over 50 CD`s, BUT most are of course crap. ha ha ha, I should be able to fill 3-4 CD`s with things I am pleased with of my own stuff, but I have not done it yet, ha ha ha. Time will show I guess, however, I never regret I learned the piano a little. by the way, I like the songs you play! Never stop playing! Have a great summer, Good luck, peace and love from Norway

As a classical pianist, there are too many to mention. Some of my favourites (to play), however would include:
Rondo Alla Turca-Mozart
Fantasia in D minor-Mozart
Le coucou-Daquin
Impromptu in A flat, Waltz in A flat-Brahms
Waltz in A minor, Mazurka in G minor, and Nocturne in C# minor-Chopin
Etude Allegro-Nakada
Ottawa Valley Song-Court Stone
Sonatina in B-flat-Cimarosa
Invention in C Major-Bach
Prelude in C minor-Bach
There are more, but that should be a large enough selection :)
