Are there any flutists on here that will be attending the NFA convention in a few weeks? If so, what events will you be attending?

This convention is WONDERFUL! I attend often, but cannot this year due to recent surgery that prevents me from flying for a while. EVERY serious flutist (pro or amateur) should go to these. They are held in a different city in the US ever year. 08 is Kansas City, and 09 is New York. Also, join the National Flute Association (www.nfaonline.org). And in the MEANTIME - go to Yahoo Groups and join FLUTENET. This is a great online group of over 3,000 flutists - you will have fun and learn TONS - I have!!!

No, I am not going to the convention. I considered it, but I am not going this year that's for sure.
