Your group must have talent. Each member must be able to work together and sound great together. This will take time because you have to know your group members and learn how to co-exist with each other. You also must be able to write songs that people will want to hear. You must be marketable (able to sell). Second you must learn the entertainment business and know what markets you want to reach (that's the people and different areas). There are managers and music lawyers out there that will take all of your money if you don't know the music business. Thirdly, patience with hard work is the major key. If you don't have these everything else will fall apart. Start learning the music business now while your young. Music is 15 percent talent and 85 percent business. But don't give up on your dream, you will make it if you focus and work hard.

Ok, easy, find a couple other band mates one needs to sing and preferably plays an instrument. altogether you should have a singer, guitarist, drummer and a bassist.

Write your own songs, don't worry how they sound just make sure they speak from the heart. Then go and play them everywhere and anywhere you can.

Get everyones email address you can. Create a myspace page and then send everyone and email with your myspace addresss in it.

Save all your money for a van and who ever turns 16 first buys it. Now you can tour, meet other musicians, go to another country if you can that worked for Jimi Hendrix.

If you're in another country playing you are on your way to fame. How fast this all happens is up to you.

Hope this helps ;)

You dont. There are plenty of really good bands that should be famous that have never been discovered. You have to be an amazing musician and be at the right place at the right time. Its not going to be an easy life, but follow your dreams, I wish you the best.

First, be related to someone really famous, and ride on their shirt tails.

Otherwise, there is no way to do this "really fast". Take lessons and learn how to play an instrument. Learn how to write songs. Get good. Get gigs and play live. Invite people and hope that someone knows someone in the industry Make a demo. Send it out. Hope you get noticed, and get signed, and people like you.

Most bands have to pay their dues and work very hard to get to the point that they are finally noticed by the record labels. Do some research on some of your fave bands on the radio right now and see just what they had to do to get to the point they are now... how long did they have to play small gigs in smokey bars, how many fliers did they make and put up themselves, how many rejections they endured. Sorry, there isnt a magic bullet to shoot you to stardom.

Tons of luck. Other than that, not possible. Most bands work for many, many, many years before getting famous.
