I just started taking the salsa lesson and I need to purchase a pair of dance shoes. Can anybody make some recommendation on how to select the shoes? How high should they be? How fat the heels should be? Where on the Internet can I find? Any recommendation will be helpful. Thanks!

I did clogging when I was like 8 until about 14, then quit.. I guess I got bored of the same ol' routines. I took a big band swing class, and thought that was rather fun... I kinda want to do ballet, or maybe salsa or somethin like that. Any suggestions on the best form? I know this will get a lot of biased answers, but if maybe you could include an explanation of why you put what you did? (other than because that's the one I do and answers like that... put something worthwhile! :P)

where I come from there is little to no reputible dance instructors or studios and I have always been naturally talented with dance.....I need some instruction, but is it too late to begin a career because of my age? I need reality, not the cliche answer of ,"it's never too late!"

So, I was born flat footed (what a joy) and my arches are flat so i don'y have a good pointed foot and all of my teachers say, " Work on your pointe" and i say ok. well i dont know any good exercises i have tried "molding" them with my hands and a Therband and nothing works i may have to result to a machine that cost about 300 dollars and i just want to try some other ways first. This could really help me out so please??

I'm doing this short essay for Phy Ed. As an outline we have to complete three given sentences. One of the sentences is...
**My future fitness goals are......
Since all I really do is dance and stetch for fitness I thought I'd finish the sentence with "achieving all three splits and getting en pointe" But are those really fitness goals?
