I don't think that those are fitness goals but if you don't know what to write about fitness, than the sentence you chose is great, cuz you're a dancer so it makes sense, don't worry about it.
Good Luck!!!!!

Yes, I think so. Usually, fitness goals are expressed in more technical terms like "I want my weight to be ...lbs by January and ... by March, I want my bicept to be ....inches in circumference". But they way you put it is fine, too, because you have very concrete goals. They are not expressed in numbers, but this is fine. What you are saying is you want to achieve all three splits and getting en pointe, which also means you are willing to work on building proper muscles and presumably you know what you are doing.
Yeah, with the whole art vs dance argument - this is still fine. Even though many will say that dancing is art, doing splits and building proper muscles with whatever goals you have in mind is not art. It is sport and fitness.

Usually it takes about 3 or 4 years of ballet training to get en pointe, but even then, you must have a very high releve, good turnout, strong legs, ankles and feet, and overall good ballet technique. I had been doing ballet on and off since i was four-eight, and when i was about nine, i just did ballet (without switching studios or stopping for a year, etc) now I am 13, and I went en pointe in August (still 12 then). Good luck!

Fitness oh yes! If pointe is your goal you have to be strong and healthy. Try getting on pointe with weak stomach and back muscles not to mention healthy eating habits would be asking for disaster. We have three professional dancers in our family and they are strong, healthy, and more in shape than most soccer or football players. You may try using words like endurance and determination for a p.e. teacher they love those words. If they doubt you do like my daughter and invite them to take a class with you. Good Luck.

those are definitely fitness goals
i danced ballet for several years and it takes endurance, poise, grace, strength and discipline to excel in it
most ppl dont believe its a sport, but i think its even more difficult than team sports bc for one, you are singled out as a performer, and you have to look good and graceful while performing physically taxing work...baseball and football players dont have to smile and coordinate their movements to look like a swan or something
:) good luck to you
