I've danced since I was 16 and now I've noticed that when I point my left foot, I get a really sharp pain and I have to quit pointing. It's very discouraging and only happens when I'm pointing my left foot. What did I do? Nothing else seems broken, and I can't tough out the pain, because it is really bad.

It seems easy enough, but for a new salsa dancer still taking lessons, I'm not having any luck finding music I can dance to. I got a CD called "Ballroom Salsa" but it was old fashioned and corny. I tried downloading from music sites, but I can't pick out the beat because a lot of it is improv-sounding. Anyone know any good salsa CD's for dancing? Especially for beginners?

Well, my school is having a culture dance festival in May, but we are going to star practicing, its an indian dance with sticks, sorry I dont know the name!!! I don't know is I will performe of something, I am really shy, and also there are this girls taht are always calling me freak and stuff, should I dance??? Seriously, my daughter has done competitive dance and gymnastics for eight years (she is 14 now). She usually does get very good parts in the group dances; she usually dances in the front line (often center), but my, the other parents and other kids get so hateful and mean about it, if they do not get good parts. My daughter does deserve to be in the front and center because she is very talented and has placed in the top ten overall at nationals for her solo dances for many years now, so these other kids and parents must know that she deserves it, but why is there so much hate and competition, even within your own dance studio? Why do people have to be that way???? Especially when these are other girls are competing with my daughter in these same group dances, against other dance studios? These parents need to be role models for the students, to teach them that it is a group effort and to stop being so catty. I've often even seen these parents fight amongst each other!
