Dancers of her level tend to take lessons wherever her coaches decide to teach. In most cases, it would be a coach who travels a lot. When Karina Smirnoff & Slavik Kryklyvyy were dance partners, their main coaches were Espen Salsberg, Donnie Burns, Tone Nyhagen, and Ralf Lepehne. But yes, there is a famous studio in Brooklyn. I don't know who she took with when she just moved to US.
