I'm reading a book called How To Write A Movie In 21 Days by Viki King. It mentions typewriters and you have to use those three-hole punched typewriter papers if you're going to write a movie. Can I just type on the computer and print it out on a white blank piece of paper and send it? Also, you have any ideas where I can send it to? =)

It needs to have characters that are charming, admirable like OH HOW I WISHED TO BE LIKE THEM. IT would help with my project so very dearly. Thank you very much! Give the title of the book and author. It could be someone you read in book and admired so much.

Here is a passage from what I have been writing so far.
"It was the chair," he said.
"Yeah, it was." She replied sarcastically.
"Sorry 'bout Ted..." Peter started, but Carol interupted with slight annoyance in her voice, "You know what, I'm kinda bummed out about talking about it."
"Fair enough," he ended.
Carol leaned back in her seat and closed her eye. She looked like she had spent the whole night up and had dark circles under her eyes, and slight hints of tear stains on her rosy cheeks. Peter had the sudden impulse the kiss her, and leaned out of his seat, but hesistated. He never handled situations with women well, and would always clam up at the last second.
Carol opened her eyes, she had heard the movement and saw Peter staring at her, hunched over.
"What?" she laughed, "You look like you are studying me, something wrong?"
Peter leaned back in his chair and smiled, he was laughing at himself on the inside of his cowardness with women. "No."

I'm very interested in things of mythical nature - especially vampires. So, naturally, I try to collect all things vampire. Books, DVDs, art, etc. However, I haven't been able to find any GOOD Vampire novels other than Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight and New Moon. And, of course, Anne Rice's early novels.

Do you have any suggestions?

I have an idea for a short story (could become bigger than that). It involves a future war between China and Japan that involves both Koreas and is told from the Chinese and Japanese prespectives. The casus belli would be the assassination of a Chinese diplomat in South Korea by a radical Japanese terrorist sect, which brings about an attack by North Korea on the American garrison on the peninsula. Japan keeps America outof the war by allying with South Korea and penetrating North Korea, which brings China into the conflict. It results in the invasion of Japan, which is then repulsed and results in the invasion of China by Japan which becomes the 3rd Sino-Japanese War. This story takes place in the near future (maybe 50 or so years from now). I am curious as to who would read this story.

I've read all Harry Potter books. I found it very interesting at first, but now I still like it, but I can't find something special in it. I can't even remember the story which is weird for me because I always remember all the stories I've ever read in my life except those HP series. And HP is very boring, it can't make me feel sad, or happy, or cry. It's very overrated.

So, why do people love it soooo much?

William Faulkner, Jack London, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, and Joseph Conrad?
I'd really like to find some other authors who write these styles as well as they do.

I've heard many negative comments about this book. However, I'm always interested in this kind of political ideology books, like Communist Manifesto by Marx.

Is it worth reading? Anyone has another book suggestions?
I like any books about philosophy, revolutionary ideology, holocaust, anti-semitism history, you know, stuff like that.

note : Don't suggest me Anne Frank's diary please, I've read it all ready.

I think Snape is on the good side & that Aunt Petunia is secretly a witch who never actually learned magic like her sister.

What are some of your theories? :]

I'm curious if anyone else out there puts together some kind of family tree for the characters in their stories. If so, do you make the basic one that just says who your characters are related to or do you include detailed info for the characters? And if you do make one, does it help you when you're writing?
