Whatever you do,don't take writing classes! What makes writing worth reading is the fact that writers have a personal touch,a personal view - and you don't want that to be spoiled by some guys who think they can change you and your points of view. And don't expect to be a best-selling author (at least, not right now). Write for yourself, because you will be your best reader ever.

Right, the first sentence is grammatically incorrect. Sorry, but it's true.
It's written in Glasgow. Big brownie points from me!
Just work at it. The best thing about writing is that you enjoy it. It doesn't matter what other people think. My aunt and I are both writers, and although my aunt has never had any of her novels published, she has had great success with short stories.
There is no point asking other people what they think, because we're all different. As much as I may love it, someone else may tear it to shreds. Look at some of the most famous books, and you will always find people who don't like them.
Writing has to come from the heart, so as long as you have a basic plot and a good spellchecker and grammar corrector then you're set! JUST ENJOY IT!

" I want to be a writer but I don't know if I'm any good. I would be grateful if anybody looked at my work."
Above are your statements with the nine errors they contain corrected. Unless you can develop an understanding of written language which would ensure that you do not make such errors,I fear that you are wasting your time.
All the best. I hope you succeed.

I'm not being funny but....concentrate on writing rather than what people think.
Writers are people who write despite their audiences...not because of them!
