Is he utterly evil for killing Dumbledore, and has been working for Voldemort the whole time? What evidence is there?

Is he good, but HAD to kill Dumbledore because of the Unbreakable Vow? Why do you think so? Evidence?

Is his only goal to kill Voldemort, and he will ally himself with whoever will get the job done, no loyalties? Evidence?

My 14 year old cousin really likes to read, which is great. The problem is, her genre choice is Christian teen fiction, which sounds like a load of crap. Its great that she's learning values that she feels are important, but it seems like her reading is exclusive to this genre. She also reads Harry Potter, so thankfully has heard some good stories, but this still leaves the problem of being unexposed to good writing, if that makes sense. She is a very smart girl, in all advanced classes, so can anyone reccomend a book that will be entertaining like HP, but perhaps better written. Something that is engrossing but presents more of a challenge for her, I guess is what I am looking for. She is about to start reading Eragon, which is in my opinion one of the worst books ever written. I'd really like to be able to reccommend something better for her to read. Obviously, it needs to be relativley "clean". Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but I'm really busy right now. :)

I have read all the books and I can not wait until the seventh (and hopefully not the final) book comes out. I was just wondering what other Harry Potter books are out there that you might reccomend that are not written by Rowling herself. Thank you.

While thousands beg J.K. Rowling to save the boy wizard in the last book in the series, I say kill him off. It would serve as a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about death and dying in a safe, fictional environment.

Besides, Harry's a tool anyway.

Thoughts?

ok, so, i am writing a book about a family with nine kids, and the mother is again pregnant. it's a rich family, and the dad isnt home all the time, you know?? so the kids arent the best of friends, and the oldest takes it the hardest and stuff, because every kid pushes her and her mother farther and farther apart. soooooo... at the end of the book, the mother is in the hospital giving birth, then dies, the end, any title ideas??

I went to Borders last night and was amazed at all the books out that say "unauthorized" Harry Potter. They were actually books stating different peoples' views on what they thought was going to happen in the 7th book. Why would you pay that kind of money? We discuss it free on Yahoo and it's interesting to hear what other people think but I would never read a book on it.

Places are really going all out this time with parties at the book stores, games for the kids. They are even having a concert at our main library with Harry and the Potters (no, really) and all sorts of games and prizes.

I'm going to get my copy the next day and start to read it. I will not look on this site for anything to do with the book until I am done. What are you going to do?
