I just finished the fifth book after totally losing interest in Harry Potter for a couple years. Now, I'm drawn back in, and I'm frantically reading the sixth book so I can finish in time for the seventh! Here are some related books I came across:
Unlocking Harry Potter: Five Keys for the Serious Reader - by John Granger
What Will Harry Do? The Unofficial Guide to Payoffs and Possibilities in Book 7 - by Janet Scott Batchler
Who Killed Albus Dumbledore?: What Really Happened in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince? - by Joyce Odel, Wendy B. Harte & John Granger
Unauthorized Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows News: Harry Potter Book Seven and Half-Blood Prince Analysis - by W. Frederick Zimmerman
Mapping the World of Harry Potter: An Unauthorized Exploration of the Bestselling Fantasy Series of All Time - by Mercedes Lackey
The Hidden Myths in Harry Potter: Spellbinding Map and Book of Secrets - by David Colbert & Virginia Allyn
Fact, Fiction, and Folklore in Harry Potter's World: An Unofficial Guide - by George W. Beahm
All are available at Amazon.com.

Once "Deathly Hallows" is released later this month, there will be nine official Harry Potter books. All of which will have been written by Rowling. Can hear some folks already asking How I get nine from seven, or telling me I'm an idiot cause there will only be seven official books. True there will be seven novels, but Rowling wrote both the school books ("Quidditch Through the Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them") for the charity Comic Relief UK. So seven novels and two school books comes out to nine official books.
However, there are numerous unofficial books. Some are guides to the Harry Potter Universe. Some are speculations on what will happen in upcoming books (now all speculation books being released are on the seventh). And some are looking at real world items brought into the Harry Potter universe and how they may have been changed. None are stories featuring Harry or his friends as that would be illegal.

Books not written by her:
Mapping the World of Harry Potter
Mugglenet.com's Harry Potter 7: Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Falls in Love, and How the Adventure Finally Ends (this is my personal fav, don't worry it doesn't have spoilers for book 7, this is only what the mugglenet staff believe will happen)

well, technically there arn't any books 'about' Harry Potter himself, because that would be plagerism. but they do have things such as JK Rowling Biographys, and different books about the storys of Harry Potter. like the sorcerers companion(a guide to harry potter), quiditch throught the ages(written by JK Rowling), fantastic beasts and where to find them(written by JK Rowling)... there are alot of books that are guides to Harry Potter. but otherwise you would probably just have to settle for fanfiction, which you can find on many websites including www.mugglenet.com
i hope i could help,
have a nice day!!!

I believe Harry Potter & Co. Is copyrighted. It would be stealing intellectual property to write that kind of book. Of course, with the coming of the end, she may be selling the rights soon, so look out!

..there are no other Harry Potter books not written by JK Rowling..and unfortunately the series WILL end at the seventh book.
..every single person who has answered so far is correct. If you were looking for some other answer, either make yourself clearer or quit being stupid.

Well there aren't any, unless you count the books that are written purely to speculate on what will happen in #7.
