I am filing a case of Copyright Infringement as his, "State of Fear" novel is based on my 2000 copyrighted screenplay, "Unnatural Disaster". Is there an easy way to find the publisher, agent, lawyer that represents him?

The book is a horror story that starts with a lady in her apartment making dinner in preparation for her husband returning home. She hears a noise in her dining room and sees shadows on the walls. It then describes how her husband finds her sitting in a chair in the middle of the room and all the furniture is pushed to one side of the room, almost magnetic. It can be quite horrid and gruesome at times. I can vaguely remember the main character i think he is some kind of investigator called in when these things cannot be solved. I unfortunately cannot remember his name or much about him. Other things in the book are black holes appearing, one scene i can remeber is when they are investigating in another apartment, a large black hole appears under the bed and tries to capture them in. It basically contains a lot of desturction and alot of shadow descriptions. It carries on around the world not just in one country. It is a fantastic book, quite thick paper back..Please help me find it

Soldier
Hush child, do not weep.
For Daddy has not departed.
He still is in your heart,
In every part of your soul and spirit.
He’ll continue to sing in his hypnotic tone.
During the tempestuous darkness.
He’ll embrace you in his glowing passionate arms,
And provide you with tenderness and affection you lust.
Hush child, do not weep.
For Daddy is in eternal rest.
He is in a promised land, with gates made of pearls,
With harmony, blue skies, and bliss.
Hush child, for Daddy died fighting.
For he fought for you.
He was a hero, a patriotic fool.
He moved with might, and potential.
Every step he took, he thought of his little daughter.
If he’ll ever observe her naive grin,
Ever perceive his name from her pleasant and satisfying lips,
Ever clasp her tightly into his thirsty arms.
Hush child, do not weep.
For Daddy loves you.
Daddy wanted you to be free, never have to sing like the cadged bird.
He desires you to extend your wings and fly.
Hush child, do not weep.
For Daddy was a warrior.
Stand with pride, and hold your head up.
Be proud, have trust, stand tall and bold.
Hush child, do not weep.
For Daddy was a soldier.

If you could ask one question about the next book to somebody who has read it already... (like does Harry get killed, for example)... What one question would you ask?

Would you ask something trivial (does Bill and Fleur's wedding go off without a hitch) or for a big fat spoiler (who exactly dies in the book)???

I teach eighth grade English and we're going to be getting new literature books next year. As part of our curriculum, we're asked to teach something from the science fiction genre at some point. Our new book, which I examined but didn't personally order, doesn't have any sci-fi material. Can anyone recommend a good science fiction short story that would be appropriate for middle school students?

If you could post a link or provide an author's name, I would appreciate it.

I used to have a book that I read all the time as a child. I think I got it in 1981, from my grade school's book orders. I just remember that it was a family of blobby looking things (sort of like shmoo) and they lived in a really weird world. I can remember pages of the book, but nothing that I can use to help describe it or make this clearer. (it might have been a Hanna Barbera book.) Sorry.... if anyone remembers please help me. thanks! :)
