The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. It is pretty insightful into human nature, and the nature of how humans consider and interact with God, and how religion (in this case, Christianity) is treated through the course of a life. It is also a rather humorous book. The body of the text consists of a senior demon's letters to his nephew, who is trying to win souls away from heaven. I am not strictly Christian myself, and have a hard time with a good deal of Christian fiction, mainly because it contains so much... I dunno, so much fiction? Lewis, however is a rather talented author who has a pretty firm grip on human nature. Also, if you are doing a report, Screwtape is probably the shortest Christian fiction you will find. That's a good thing, too, because it is an enjoyable read, and deserves to be read more than once.

i'm a Christian and luxuriate in analyzing philosophy and theology extra often than not, I evaluate those works of technology or no less than non-fiction, some might argue this factor. I extremely have study Darwin's commencing place of species to extra perfect communicate over with those that a approach or the different evaluate it to be an efficient condemnation of the Bible (yet got here across it somewhat uninteresting stuff) I not often study fiction as i'm the form of guy or woman that continually thinks "what nonsense, what finished nonsense...." whilst analyzing it.

Until Something by Scott Patrick was really good if you like New Adult Romance. The characters were believable, unlike some Christian romance where nobody has any flaws. I also liked Piercing the Darkness by Frank Peretti. That was really good too as far as straight fiction goes.

If you like fiction set in a current timeframe I recommend Karen Kingsbury, Dee Henderson, or Teri Blackstock. If you prefer historical fiction you can't go wrong with Gilbert Morris, Brock and Bodie Thoene, Lori Wick (she also writes some current fiction), Judith Pella. To name a few.
Happy reading!
Lori Wick, Gilbert Morris, and Karen Kingsbury are some of my favorites.
