I finally found someone that thinks Arya and Eragon belong together and ARYA should be a DRAGONRIDER!
Just look at my name!
I think Eragon will somehow save Arya's life (again) and she will realize that he REALLY loves her!

Sometimes I feel sad for Eragon to have fallen in love with Arya. I found her to be a bit of a snob at times and I don't really like the way she treats him, you know, with all that holier-than-thou attitude? Love should be unconditional, and would Arya love Eragon if he is just the simple farm boy that he was before discovering Saphira?
It's easy to say that they should be together because they love each other, but would their relationship really work out? I mean, the age difference is too vast and they would find it difficult to connect on the same wavelength. Arya would have to keep tolerating Eragon's youthfulness, and Eragon on the other hand would always feel that he needs to keep up with Arya.
I know this is just a fantasy, but nevertheless, it has to have a certain amount of reality to make it believable. Take the Lord of the Rings, for instance. What happened to Arwen's life after the death of her beloved King Aragorn? (if anybody bothers to read the lengthy prologue at the end, that is)
And furthermore, I'd hate to see this whole thing to turn into just another mushy love story.......

I don't know...for the sake of poor Eragon, I agree, but Arya seems awfully stubborn and she is right. Eragon can't spend all his time mooning after her; he has to move on.

I think that if they were together in the current state that the Empire is in it will mess up focus on shifting the balance of power. Maybe they will get together at the end of the last book but until then it would harm more than prosper. Until the war is over either of them could be used against the other.

Heck Yes! I don't care what these people say about the empire and crap. They deserve each other, and it just makes so much sense. Please, get real if you disect this question, they are so perfect for one another.
