I was going through all of my old things at my parents' house & found my collection. They were great books!

OMG! I swear I never read anything other than those books when I was in third grade!! HAHA! I loved those books! Gertrude Warner was brilliant. I felt like I was a part of the Alden family. I think the grandpa was my favorite character.....*sigh*.....Ah well, thanks a million for a blast from the past! :)

Do I ever! Those were some of the first books I ever read! I loved those books and have such incredible memories. Only the Boxcar Children books can make someone want a cracked pink cup like Benny had. Did you know there is even a Boxcar Children Cookbook? My boyfriend's mom has it and showed it to me when I was reminiscing about favorite childhood books.

I remember those! That's every child's dream, to just run away and live in the woods just using nature to survive. The first one, where they're actually living in the boxcar is the best; but I read many of them in the series. They got old after awhile, but I love thinking back to what books I used to read over and over, and wonder if I could find any of them now...

Oh my gosh, I used to read those books all the time when I was in second grade. I absolutely loved them. Actually it was my second grade teacher who introduced them to me. She had started reading the books to the class. After that I was hooked and everytime I would go to the book store I'd get a book from the series. Honestly I think that was the only books I would read for awhile, that is until i parents decided to start weening me off them. :)
