Okay, so I'm editing my first book, and will probably be ready to publish in a year or two. I don't want to use my own name, cuz I'll get into trouble, especially since I'll be ~15 or 16 when I'm ready to publish.

I'm looking for a totally NOT ethnic sounding name and an ethnic sounding name (I'm Jewish). I'm a girl, so please give girl's names. (Last names too!)

Shawna Daniels and Elizabeth Levinson.

i got most of it worked out...except for a few kinks. what are ways i can give things more detail? i was thinking of putting my best friend on the front cover since she's helped me so much on this...would that be a good idea? also, what size should i make the font and how big should the pages be to grab people's attention?

I bought this book for my grandparents, and it turned out to be a great book for people at any age. I remember that it was by someone fairly famous but not likely to write such a book. I thought the author was Bruno Bettelheim, or Dr. Spock, or even Dr. Seuss. The book was short, easily readable, straight-forward.
