Does anyone know where I can find To Kill A Mockingbird online? Like, the text? I really want Chapters 16 and 17, especially.

I absolutely hate these books. And I don't care if nobody agrees with me, I'd just like to get my point across.

(and I've read the first 4 books, so I know what I'm talking about)

First of all, nothing that happens in these books is really worth writing about. Massie's friends decide to start a new clique, there's a new girl at their school who's hotter than Massie--so what?? By the 3rd book, Claire gets sucked into this whole popularity thing. Don't you think that sends a bad message--"if you're not popular, you'll get nowhere in life". If these girls are so popular and mature, why do they use childish expressions like "ah-mazing,"loser beyond repair" and "Eternal wannabe"? And would it kill Ms. Harrison to put in ONE character who's not shallow and two dimensinal?

now, I have more points, but...er....my fingers are about to fall off

The requirements are:
1. In the intro after the attention grabber, briefly summarize the book without giving away the ending using: who, what, where, when, why, and how.

2. In the thesis identify the author and title of the book and state your evaluation of it.
3. Defend your evaluation in three major points (body) by examining the plot/storyline.
4. In the conclusion recommend (or not) the book by summarizing why with the main point reasons.....

It needs to be a 3 minute speech...anyone have any ideas on the three points that i should talk about...

Has anyone ever heard of the fairy tale, The Girl in the Paper Dress? It's like a cinderella story and there's a part in the story where she works for some dwarves/elves and finds strawberries in the snow. If anyone has a clue where I can find the book for this story please let me know or if they know the exact title.

small airplane pilot crashes on an island off of (?Canada maybe) and uses the pieces of his airplane to build a shelter and tries to survive. May have had a dog or made friends with a wolf...I read this in 6th grade, over 30 years ago, so I don't know how old it was at that time. All I remember it was a really well written book and a good story of survival suited for a younger person, detailed but not gory...I should remember it as I read it so many times, but.....Thanks for any ideas or suggestions as to what it might be!

*Also, are the Private series by Kate Brian and the Nannies by Melody Meyer good?

1. The Fabric of the Cosmos (Brian Greene)
2. The elegant Universe (Brian Greene)

Whats the best way to find fact if youre low on money?
