Were Poe and Shakespeare related?

I know this may be a strange question, but i did hear that it may be true. They lived nearly two hundred years apart...but evidence could show it to be true. Both suffered from depression, and were amazing with writing.

Most writers are depressive, many alcoholic, and not a few suicidal. Such is the case with creative people in all ages.

I don't believe any connection, other than the human condition, can be proved between Poe and Shakespeare.

If there is evidence it needs to be produced.
