A girl no younger than twelve or thirteen stood huddled in a blanket, her long, sharp fangs curling over her bottom lip. Her long, black hair formed a veil over her ghostly silhouette. She clutched the silver pendant that hung on her neck, tangled in her hair, and held it up to the moon, begging...praying...for something--or someone--to fall into her trap. To meet both their end, and their beggining...

Right. I am a teacher who needs inspiration. World Book Day (1st march) at our school requires us all to dress up as a literary character. I am running out of ideas, as I have done this for a few years now. Need to think of something quick! Help!!!

Plot: 2 brothers, are Texas rangers, and they go to hometown (houston) to check out a drug ring. Their father died, well, was murdered by the people in the drug ring, to show the sister , that they are serious about killing her mom, if she tells her bros. She is a cheerleader at a school. She acts up, and does stuff.O` and she goes w/ them, to try to lead them on the wrong trail, and they find a starage place, and a dead body that has a note that says if they keep working on case, they are going to kill more and more people. So they are going to act like they are babysitting sister, to try to get some more info, w/out acting like it.

i need some problems, and how they figure out she is part of ring, and just some things that happen to her leading up to it. Also- this book is all for fun. No publishing.... Thanx

After reading more books/novels than I can count, I'm looking to delve back into some "real reading". I've read some of the classics in the past and took a "break" from them for some 'light reading'. I am now ready to jump back in to works with substance! And, I'm not necessarily looking for just the "classics". I am also interested in reading books that "touch you life" or "change you" in some way. So, to all of my fellow "nerds" who LOVE to read...help me out with all of your suggestions! Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you!
