I need a good storyline for my sixth grade gifted LANG/LIT. I need one that can last at least 10 pages, or more! Thank you for your time.

Have them make up a story about finding a genie in a cell phone.

Maybe a who done it mystery. Something simple like who took TV remote. You could do a little CSI with some logic problems. You could start with the character doing a search through the living room, maybe finding something that had be lost for while. Then interview people in the house about where it was last seen.
Best thing is an everyday problem is solved without physical conflict. Lets the kids know to solve things with their heads. Must be fate, the Who just came on the radio.

choose a catagory- like lets say Early American History. They can make up a character, and get some information on what happened during that time, and they can make the character go through some different things.

how about some kind of quest story or odyssey with a modern twist? Time/ space travel?
type of transporter???
Animals/ children??escaping from global warming?
search for a "cure" for global catastrophe???
