What is the worst fan-fiction on the Internet?
Come on, there's some total junk out there. Give me links .... I want the worst of the worst!

Unthinkable situations, totally ripped-off ideas, cliches, hackneyed writing, spelling errors .... lay it on!!!

Bonus points if it's about a book / TV show / movie that originally sucked.

It's a science fiction book and it was about a boy who mysteriously appears in a house with no memory of who he is or how he got there. There are other people in this house and each one has a unique psychic gift. The boy discovers that he has a talent for teleportation, but he doesn't remember where he came from or who he is. He has a memory that his life was in danger and he fleeing. I hope someone can help me. For the life of me I can't remember the name of this book!

For my English class we have to read a book by a british author. The teacher gave us a list of books and their authors for a guide line of what we could read, she said that the person did not have to be on the list for us to read the book. I have a book for this semesters assignment but I need one for the next semester. I have looked at all of the books on the list and none of them interest me. So if you could please tell me of some British Authors or books that you know are written by one but can't remember the name. The books have to be a novel, and have more than 300 pages.

XVI

To fight aloud is very brave,
But gallanter, I know,
Who charge within the bosom,
The cavalry of woe.

Who win, and nations do not see,
Who fall, and none observe,
Whose dying eyes no country
Regards with patriot love.

We trust, in plumed procession,
For such the angels go,
Rank after rank, with even feet
And uniforms of snow.

-Emily Dickinson

A small group of children went away with a teacher on an adventure. I think they camped on an island - Puffin Island? In my memory, 20 years later, I feel it was probably similar to a Famous Five book (but definitely wasn't one). I estimate that I read the book in about 1988. I hope someone can help me on my trip down memory lane. Thanks for reading.

Stories have been written about men on the moon long before we actually went there. The Time Machine involved scientific facts that were unheard of and thought of as fantasy at the time of publication.

Did these fantasy writers inspire the scientists to see if what they wrote about was feasable or did the nucleus for their stories come from new scientific breakthroughs
